Three-Corded Quipu

A proto-quipu from before the time of the Fourfold Realm. Three long cords are tied to a furcula bone the size of my hand. It is in pristine condition for its age. [This object houses a numen - a truth so powerful it can perhaps believe itself.]
Initial Location: Missing Rootway

I’m Reading…

The cords are individually made of volcanic glass, vicuna wool, and sea silk. When I trace them through their twists, each cord reveals itself to be a continuous loop, repeating a lullaby that makes the eyes heavy and the body limp.

I’ve Read…

Loose fibers near the furcula catch my attention. There’s a seam running along it, thin as a spider web. Words echo in my head when I trace my fingers over them, and as I whisper them, my skull rattles. The rest of my bones feel its aftershock.
