Dragon’s Nest

The stone’s scales speak of a nest laid deep in the earth, with three eggs within. When the mother was slain, her murderers took the eggs into their brood for centuries. But the vigilance of mortals is weak, and their wisdom weaker still. One brooder strove to incubate the cinnabar egg in flame, and was themself consumed, and the egg with it. One invited the Five Birds of the Roost to incubate the next, but found the limestone egg snatched by the beach-crow. The obsidian egg must still be kept, but its nest is still unknown.

Age-Long Vigils (Locked)

Great coiled serpents were here, feasting and breeding. Now the Calyptra takes their place around these nests of stone, and their teeth are just as sharp.
