The Arero Tablet
A tablet from Rapa Nui bequeathed to the Haustorium by Ester Arero, engraved with the language of the lower skies known there as rongorongo.

The powers of the air, the aviform Hours, are possessive of their gossip and rarely let others indulge in it, let alone survive. But now and then, they would disperse their secrets to a mortal worthy of their attention. This tablet describes one tradition for doing so by performing feats in their honor, and outlines various formulae which lent protection to and from ‘the bird-touched’.

Any secrets won from the Roost are not recorded here, but their various natures - forbidden affairs of Hours, forgotten corners of the House, far-off locales - have been synthesized into a guide to navigating the Histories. Of particular note is speculation that the aviforms’ gossiping is similar to, if not the same as, the Hours’ creation of the Histories. Unfinished inscriptions suggest at least one mortal attempted to use the secrets they won to elevate their demi-real branches of history into a fully-fledged History of their own, but nothing here indicates any measure of success.
